Nathalee Jacques
Box Office Coordinator
Nathalee Jacques, an Ottawa-based composer, infuses her life experiences into reflective and accessible musical compositions. Addressing feminist issues and advocating for BIPOC inclusion, her work aims to spark education and dialogue on underrepresented topics. Holding an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Music (2018) and a Master's in Music Composition (2021) from the University of Ottawa, Nathalee has crafted pieces for various ensembles, including chamber groups, marching bands, and string orchestras. Alongside her traditional compositions, she actively expands her electroacoustic repertoire, contributing to the dynamic landscape of contemporary music.

Felicia Persaud
CO-FOUNDER, General Manager
Felicia Persaud (BMus, MA, BEd, OCT) is an Ottawa-based music educator. They currently hold a teaching position with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board and have worked with multiple music education organizations in the city. Felicia studied clarinet with Kimball Sykes at the University of Ottawa and has been a musician with the Ottawa Pops Orchestra since 2017. They were also one of the original board members, finally completing their term in 2024. Felicia continues to work with the Ottawa Pops Orchestra as the General Manager.

Jessica Rollins
Librarian
Jessica Rollins is the current librarian for the Ottawa Pops Orchestra. Holding a Bachelor of Music in performance from Queen’s University in Kingston, Jessica has been involved with the Ottawa Pops Orchestra since 2020. The orchestra regularly draws on her experiences both as a classical and jazz performer as well as arranger to program pieces that would not otherwise be possible for a volunteer-run organization. She is always up for a challenge and lends her skills to the Orchestra both on an off the stage to help ensure an engaging experience for patrons.

Mathieu J. Roy
CO-FOUNDER, Manager of Artistic Planning
Mathieu Roy is the founder and Artistic Director of the Ottawa Pops Orchestra. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the University of Ottawa in 2017 and later completed a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance in 2021, studying under esteemed choral scholar Laurence Ewashko. Active as a performer and producer, Mathieu focuses on opera and musical theatre while also contributing to the broader Ottawa music community and participating in various music education initiatives.
